How surveillance data is prepared

Data is collected from official and reviewed public health sources, normalized into shared contracts, projected into GeoJSON and JSON feeds, then served through public APIs and indexable HTML pages.

Quality rules

• Official public health sources are preferred over secondary sources.
• Each record keeps source, confidence, date, and geographic precision metadata.
• Manual news items are stored separately and merged into the public feed.
